I am delighted that you are considering joining us here at Barnardo’s.
We have over 150 years of experience delivering services in communities to children, young people, and their families across the UK. We deliver a range of services to meet the varied and sometimes complex needs of those who need us most. A key to our ability to do this is our people. We can only achieve this goal by recruiting staff and volunteers who not only share our vision and values, but who demonstrate this in practice. We are a large, diverse family with a variety of skills and knowledge, experience, and expertise, all working together as one Barnardo’s. Staff structure
The Assistant Director of Children's Services for North Residential Services oversees the Responsible Individual, who in turn oversees the Registered Manager; the Registered Manager is responsible for the Deputy Manager (who manages Senior Residential Children and Young People's Workers and Residential Children and Young People's Workers), the Therapeutic Support role, and the Administrator, who supervises the Handy Person/Gardener and the Domestic staff.
